If you like burgers you have to try the el Diablo here with a Oreo shake they are just heavenly . This is a pit stop for me every time am in town and they never disappoint . Weekends are bit crowded so plan to wait 20-30 min to be seated .

I’ve been hearing big things about Hop Doddy since they opened in Austin. I was fully expecting an hour+ wait, but luckily I was seated promptly. I ordered the Turlingua burger and green chile queso with fries. The burger has chili and Fritos along with the other normal burger toppings. An excellent choice. The green chile queso was perfect. I could eat that stuff with a spoon and be in heaven. One thing to note. If you’re looking for a big, fat, put you in a food coma burger, this is not your place. The burgers are average size at best. Hop Doddy is about quality, not quantity. I didn’t walk away hungry, but not stuffed for sure. Also the fries, while tasty, a cut into tiny straw fries. Not my favorite for dipping. But the flavor was prefect. Good place for a high end burger.
