Overall happy and would return. I came for a late lunch 1pm on a Tuesday and ate chicken in hot garlic sauce with hot and sour soup. The soup came out quickly and had nice hot and sour flavor which is nice as I usually end up adding chili oil and lemon at other places to adjust the flavor. One thing I didn’t really care for in the soup was large pieces of pork. Once I finished my soup my entree came quickly as well. I again liked the overall taste of the dish but it was extremely high temperature, would have scalded myself if I wasn’t paying attention. The plate itself wasn’t hot nor the fried rice. I am not a fan of dark meat which it was mainly constructed of and the meat seemed over cooked, but I still ate my fill once it had cooled some.
AWESOME!!. Hunan Lion has the BEST Chinese food I’ve ever tasted! I have been going to this restaurant for 6 years now and it has been an awesome experience each time! If you haven’t eaten here you Must try it!
Good food – but rude waiter staff. The food is always good here. what bothered me was all the gauking at my daughter who was born with a cleft lip. 4 waitresses came over (and someone from the kitchen) and talked about her to one another in their own language…asking what was wrong with her. Maybe this is acceptable in their culture – but i was very uncomfortable.
Good spot for lunch. I ordered the Lemon Chicken, while my wife ordered the Sesame Chicken. I preferred hers to mine, but both were good. Prices are good, with decent portion size.
The best chinese resturant in N RR by far. Great food and service.
