Catfish touffe. My first time ever having catfish touffe! I got mine with blackened catfish. Two thumbs up!
The service at Louisiana Longhorn Cafe is as phenomenal as the food! We had personal service with outstanding recommendations. The blackened alligator is an absolute must and all of the dishes we tried were delicious. We will definitely make this place a regular.
Excellent service from our waitress Candace! Brought out samples for us to try being it was our first time visiting! We took our daughter and worried it wouldn’t be kid friendly but that couldn’t be farther from the truth. Candace engaged my daughter in small talk, brought her Mardi Gras necklaces, and even volunteered to hang her drawing on the wall. I had the fried catfish touffe with red beans n rice as my side. My hubby got the (giant) chicken fried steak with brown gravy and okra as his side. The fries were hand cut fries! Real fries! My little one had Mac n cheese. Not your typical saucy cheese but definitely stringy real cheese used instead. We’ll definitely be back!!!! Thanks for the outstanding service and food!!
WOW. It was all very good. Appetizers, entrees and drinks. We will be back for more!!!!
Excellent south-Louisiana style food. Very good seafood gumbo. The large gumbo was big enough to take half of it home. Generally the menu is a bit over-priced for lunch. The staff is very nice an the iced tea is great.
Horrible tasted like canned tomato sauce and frozen chicken. Bread and tortillas dried out. Bun was twice the size of burger. Only good things were fried onion rings. Average service. Seemed surprised a were eating there. Mad at myself i did not send back food!28 Aug, 2013H Iorrible tasted like canned tomato sauce and frozen chicken. Bread and tortillas dried out. Went with my family for dinner. Horrible service and food was sub-par. Food was luke warm and some was cold all on the same plate. Wait was long, which would’ve been ok if food was good. Definitely not a good experience.
