Always liked it before, but recently brought out-of-town guests, which ended up being an embarrassing mistake. We showed up mid-afternoon on a Monday; the meat and sides had been sitting a while and were inedible to the point of being gross.The food is good when it’s fresh, but beware during off-times.
OK.. Ate here (Round Rock location) Saturday night. The brisket plate was good. Meat was falling-apart tender, and the sauce was nicely flavored. Beans were also good; the greenbean casserole not so good. Reasonably priced, and the staff were friendly. Would eat here again, with different sides next time.

Just Good. Not homemade barbecue by any means but really good still, much better variety of sides than Smokey Mo’s and I prefer it for meat too. Can get pricey but if so you’re getting a good amount of food. Good chicken, brisket, and ribs that aren’t going to come slathered in some nasty sauce unless you choose, which is great for those who like meat instead of mostly sauce. The only BBQ place I’ll go to.
Good BBQ – great for kids & teens…. This is good old fashion BBQ and the kids love it because the sauce doesn’t hurt their mouths and I like it because it offers good quality meat, good veggie options for a BBQ joint, and decent prices. Great place for a family dinner – comfortable without being on the highway and outside where it’s loud.

Get the smoked turkey. I’ve tried a lot of things and all their meats. The smoked turkey is the best they’ve got to offer. Sides are fresh and all good. I’ve found the brisket to be dry and the ribs are usually a little over cooked for my taste.
