Went for a lunch a while ago. Barely a mile from the La Frontera Blvd where we stayed, the restaurant is easy to find. The ambiance has nothing much to write about, a familiar little cafe/ pub like with warm lighting, wooden table and chairs. Nothing fancy, but Comfortable! We ordered Cesar and garden salads, a Lobster and Langostino Pizza, Wood-Grilled Peppercorn Sirloin and Shrimp, Lighthouse Wood-Grilled Peppercorn Sirloin and Shrimp and NY Strip and Rock Lobster Tail. For beverages we ordered hot tea, strawberry and peach lemonades. They serve warm house made Cheddar Bay Biscuits. I wish some sort of herbed butter was served along with it. That would make a great combination! The tea was the usual hot water and a tea bag but the strawberry and peach lemonades were nice. Both the salads were fresh and tasted good. The lobster and Langostino Pizza was brilliant! The lobster meat was tender and juicy, mozzarella fresh and warm, and the flavors of tomato and basil was wonderful. In fact I would be happy if we ordered this for main course! For main course, I had the Wood-Grilled Peppercorn Sirloin and Shrimp. I requested for well done and it was perfect. The shrimps were beautifully cooked and the flavors were earthy and nice. The Brussel sprouts tasted great too.My friends had great things to say about their main course (Lighthouse Wood-Grilled Peppercorn Sirloin and Shrimp and NY Strip and Rock Lobster Tail) as well. The staff were polite, friendly and let us know in advance how long it would take for each dish. The bill was about $94 for three of us and I found that reasonable.Overall a happy meal on a pleasant Sunday afternoon.

We were seated and then forgotten. They didn’t even take our drink order. I wonder how long it took them to realize we left.
