The place has very good juicy bbq and the sauce is awesome. I had the brisket and it was perfect. You won’t be disappointed with this place and the wait wasn’t long.
Mostly good, but extremely inconsistent brisket. I’ve been here probably a dozen times over the years. Their sides are great, the sausage is good, but you are rolling the dice with the brisket. Maybe 1/3 to 1/2 of the time, the brisket is dry. The rest of the time, the brisket is great. It doesn’t matter if you ask for lean or dry brisket.
Great Q. I’m not sure where some of the other reviews are coming from, this place always has great Q and a BBQ loaded baked potato that is a gut buster. Great daily specials make it a great lunch spot. If your in Round Rock this place and Johny T’s are local fare favorites.
Awesome Ribs. Fall off the bone ribs. Great BBQ for great price. We visit whenever we are in Austin.
Not Impressed. Been here a couple of times. Nothing has really impressed me. The food isn’t terrible, but I have a high standard when it comes to BBQ and Smokey Mo’s ain’t up to my standard.
Great food, good value. The sandwiches are served with a generous helping of meat. Their sauce is wonderfully tangy with a nice kick.Good stuff! You will not be disappointed.
