Disappointed in Service. Immediately upon arriving, I shared with our waitress that I am extremely allergic to mushrooms. I was disappointed to see our cook grilling our parties vegetables with mushrooms-right in front of me with direct exposure. I immediately informed him that I am allergic and apologized and suggested I tell the waitress next time. He attempted to serve me chicken that was cooked next to the mushrooms which our entire party signaled to him ‘NO’. He was too quick to serve our plates and neglected to listen. We never received drink refills. Our appetizers came out late (edemame), the sushi rolls never were served until asked at the end of the meal, the cook attempted the throw food on our plates without asking if we cared for the veggies or shrimp. The soups came out at different times. When I informed the cook that I didnt want my portion of shrimp, instead of serving it to another member in our party, he chopped it up and wasted it as he played the toss game…..couldnt he have done that with rice or broccoli instead of wasting good shrimp? Horrible and disgusted with service. I am now experiencing side effects from the mushroom exposure.

Food is great and the service is top notch. The bar also has the best drinks!

Fun and food. The one great thing about Japanese restaurants as compared to other oriental cuisines is the opportunity for entertainment by the chef. Specifically, the show at the grill with the flying knives, fast chopping, onion volcano, and other tricks. This is what you get at Tokyo Steakhouse and Sushi Bar. This place is one of the 2 – 3 famous sushi places in Round Rock, the other being Origami. Unlike Origami, which is modeled after a traditional Japanese restaurant both inside and out; this place is a big restaurant meant to cater to the large lunch and dinner time crowds of Americans. The place has regular tables for those wanting just sushi, and then the tables around the grill for those wanting to watch the cooking shows. We got the latter. The food itself is good; as the selection and price are comparable to those any any standard Japanese steakhouse / grill. There was the typical combinations of steak with something else; whether it be shrimp, scallops, or chicken. The fried rice was also good. And the portions were large for everything we ordered. In conclusion, a nice eating experience.

It is a REALLY LOUD place to eat. The acoustics are terrible. BUT even though the waiter was pretty much overwhelmed he did a great job. The food was very good and it is certainly worth eating here.

I have had way better hibachi elsewhere. My salmon was over cooked and the quality should have been better for the price. I would not recommend it to anyone

Awesome!! Went to tokyo steakhouse to celebrate life, and had a wonderful time!! The food was great, the steak and chicken were tender and well seasoned, the atmosphere was exciting and fun, and our server ,Natalie, was the best!! At first glance the prices were a little steep, but you get a lot of food cooked the right way for the price. We can’t wait to go back!!

Salty. Took my daughter here for her birthday. Would have enjoyed it more if the food had not been so salty.
