Nice place. Stopped in to grab some breakfast tacos to go. Once I walked in, I wished I had come later in the day to hang out and grab a beer. Loved the atmosphere. The breakfast tacos were really good, a better alternative to the heavy and greasy tacos from other places. Their salsa was definitely worth trying too!

The tacos were good but they are small portions. The majority of the taco is lettuce and cilantro. Don’t get chicken tacos cause you won’t even see it. Get the brisket or pork cause those actually fill you up. The red salsa might as well be used for spaghetti sauce. Chipotle sauce is pretty good though.
Small portion size for the price. Food was tasty but I thought the portion size was pretty skimpy for the price. I ordered the burrito bowl ($6.79) and the meat/cheese/rice/beans filling was on top of two large tortillas. The filling would have very lightly filled one tortilla. I’m doing low carb so I didn’t eat the tortillas – just the filling. Within an hour I was hungry again because of the small portion size. I’d go back, but not often – not a good value.
3 Parrots. Took both of my kids for dinner tonight. Portions were good size for the price. Kids loved the bottled sodas. I had the brisket taco plate with baja potatoes and borracho beans. The potatoes were good, I’ve not seen them prepared this way but they were good. Good family vibe going at this place. I will return.
3 Parrots Taco Shop. Glad to finally see real California tacos come to San Angelo. The food brought back memories of my favorite place on the west coast. Pork tacos were awesome. Chips and Monteray Jack Queso were good also. I get tired of greasy style mexican food so this place was a refreshing change. All the surfboards was a nice touch for the decor(nice to have a few tvs to watch the game also). I’ll for sure be back.
Disappointed. Met some friends for breakfast and each us were pretty excited to see such a cool looking place, especially in San Angelo. But that excitement soon turned to disappointment when we got our food. We each got one burrito but should have ordered two. At $2.29 a burrito youd think theyd be a decent size. The tortillas are not homemade and they were very rubbery. We each had a lot of tortilla left from our burritos because there wasnt enough filling. Another big disappointment was their salsa. I wouldnt even call it that. More like tomato pasta sauce. The look and taste. We decided to try the lunch or dinner on another day. But if its anything like breakfast we probably wont be going back.
