The atmosphere here is casual/traditional Mexican restaurant. The starter chips had a slightly burnt flavor and the salsa was very salty. (And I love salt). As for the fajitas, they were actually very good and cooked in a traditional Tex-Mex style. Armentas just doesnt quite stand out compared to other Mexican restaurants Ive reviewed.
Really good, authentic dishes. Tacos, flautas are our main go to. Also, enjoy a DosXX amber to wash it all down. Some of the nicest folks around. Very family friendly!
Good food. The Matteo Special is bomb. Most of the time, the service is impeccable. The place itself can be a bit cramped, and I did have one visit where the fajitas were too salty; but overall, I do really like Armenta’s. The patio has a nice atmosphere. My only complaint is that I wish they would get comfier chairs.
