READY TO TRY IT. Going to try it today but I had to post because of some of the other comments I read. For San Angelo, RJ and Bubbas are really good. I’ve eaten BBQ all over Texas and so far the BEST I have eaten is at Ronnies BBQ in Johnson City. Flavor is very subjective but if you’re ever anywhere NEAR Ronnies it is worth the trip to give it a try -but be warned, get there by 11 because they sell it ’til it’s gone and it’s gone in a hurry!

I have actually eaten at Bodacious BBQ and it was not bad, but it was not the best. Unlike Route 534 who commented on EVERY BBQ place in SAN ANGELO and claimed all were the worst in TEXAS, I think you need to avoid his comments (yes, he is a guy, cuz in one post he stated he had a wife). I think route 534 needs to get a life and start truly commenting on the food, not trying to make your favorite BBQ score high. GET A LIFE
Very Good. I had lunch to go at Bodacious. I had a sausage plate with beans and potato salad. Very good.

Nope!. If this is the best San Angelo has to offer as far as BBQ goes, than I am really disappointed. The ribs were rubbery and not seasoned well. The chopped beef was just OK, the beans were too spicy and the ice tea was bland. The coleslaw was alright. I will not be returning.
