The place was almost empty at 8pm on Sat. Nite. Booth seats saggy & not very clean. Had to walk across room & ask waitress where restroom was cause her attention was on her cell phone. The Hot water in bathroom was nearly boiling hot. Chicken fry was so tough I couldn’t chew it. Tea was horrible made with tap water & not fresh. Very disappointed as I have often eaten here over the years and it used to be a great meal always. NOT true any longer.

Service isn’t always the fastest, but it’s good down home cooking. Huge portions, great onions rings. Warning: a small serving of onion rings will serve a whole table. Burgers are thick and juicy. Really respectful of military and a great place to patronize.

Great Homemade Type Food. A tradition in east San Angelo. Always busy. The best homemade type food and the best rolls. You won’t go home hungry. They always have lunch and dinner specials, but not the cheapest. Real vegetables served with meals.
