Love it!. They are a great restaurant, great small town experience and Americanized Chinese food. Don’t expect authentic, but do expect good food at a good price.

Terrible Food!!!. I’m in the military and have traveled all over the world and this was the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. I tried three separate dishes (take out) because I’ve had several people tell me how good it was and boy were they wrong. I got the General Tso’s chicken…ketchup-like sauce that was barely edible, chicken broccoli that had a dark brown sauce that was bland, and a chicken stir fry (extra spicy) that tastes like it was made with chicken broth??? The only decent thing about the place is it’s relatively inexpensive. However, BEWARE, you get what you pay for…CRAP!!!

Not any more. This place started our really good! The service was always sub-par, but acceptable but the desserts MORE than made up for anything the wait staff did or didn’t do! The last time we went we were disappointed to find no cheese cake! We were informed that their dessert chef has quit (poor management) and the desserts have gone downhill making this place yet another one to avoid.

Very disappointed…. First impressions mean a lot – and this was my first impression coming to this restaurant. First off – when I walked in – I wasn’t even greeted with a hello. One very rude cashier who didn’t even look up from her cell phone to acknowledge me. I guess since she is ‘just the cashier’ its not her job to be cordial. Then I stood and waited til what appeared to be one of the owners who was nice and friendly at least and said hello.I grew up here in San Angelo – and have since lived in California where if you don’t serve good Chinese – you don’t stay open. So you can just about be assured that if you find a Chinese place – its going to be good. Its a cold rainy day and I wanted nothing more really than GOOD CHINESE HOT and Sour SOUP. I’ve been hearing nothing but RAVE reviews about the Chinese restaurant out at the airport and that is the best Chinese food in town. No we don’t have Hot and Sour soup. Really? A Chinese restaurant that doesn’t have Hot and Sour Soup? This has got to be the first Chinese restaurant that I’ve been to that didn’t have Hot and Sour Soup.Well take it from me – don’t take anyone’s advice in this town about GOOD food. This place was seriously mediocre at best. The ‘Soup’ that they had was a Chicken (Chinese) noodle soup – something pretty much anyone could have made with a can of Cambell’s and some rice noodles and a hot pepper. BORING and very UN-Chinese except for the rice noodle. Then I get to the main dish. I love General Tso’s Chicken … it is , and should be, the pinnacle of good Chinese food and most restaurants. First it was it brought to my table before I had even 4 bites of my ‘soup’. So I really couldn’t finish my soup with my main dish about to get cold and I wanted to enjoy it hot. But what did I get but was a bunch of pre-battered almost flavorless chicken, with just white onions cut up and slathered in sauce and a mound of what their version of fried rice was – which was just rice cooked up with soy and oil – no egg, no vegetables – boring. This was my first and most likely only experience at this restaurant – I wont be going back.

Wonderful food, the best ever. I just ordered Chicken Pineapple Dish, with fried rice, the Chickenwas so tender, I have never had chicken this tender and good beforeand I have eaten at many restaurants. The owner is very nice and helpful, and the other helpersare nice too. I will recommend it to lots of folks out there.
