Mean manager. I can get past overpriced deli meat sandwiches, but having to witness the manager talk down to the cashiers and staff was too much. The man would turn to a customer with a smile and then turn two feet away and speak rudely to his staff. We won’t return.

Not bad!. I’d been to a McAllister’s in SC and was not impressed, but I heard good things about the one here and thought I’d give it a try. Staff was pleasant and quick, tried the sweet tea because I had heard it was good. I’m not normally a sweet tea fan, having grown up in the north, but it was good and not overly sweet. My sandwich was very good as was the mac and cheese. The kids menu looked good, with more than burgers and chicken nuggets. I’m sure I will be stopping by again.

Great Food, Great Service. Not sure what some reviewers are fussing about. It’s the south people, the tea being super sweet is a must. It’s a southern thing. If it’s too sweet, get the unsweetend and add your own amount of sugar, how hard is that? really? I’ve never gotten a bad salad from McAlister’s and i eat there quite a bit. I’ve had a couple dishes, their turkey club, some of their spuds, and salads. They are always fresh, and made to order perfectly.

Used to be good.. Since I work in the mall and I am a vegitarian, I used to eat at McAlisters almost every day. I liked their tea (unsweet) and I thought their food was decently fresh and their veggies always cold, crisp and delish. However, at some point they decided that it was too much trouble to keep fresh produce so they started using obviously prepackaged diced tomatoes and cucumber with no flavor other than old, and stopped carrying several veggies like mushrooms and roasted red peppers. my sandwiches had half the ingredients they used to and the salads are a joke with trying to balance finely diced veggies on a fork.

Best Tea? Really?. I guess I would vote for McAlister’s tea as the best if I wanted an immediate cavity. Their sweet tea is ridiculously sweet. They have also limited the size of their menu in the past year. I’m sorry, but the food is just too expensive for lunch meat and a bag of chips. My husband can spend $10 there and still leave hungry.
