Great for Special Occasions or Just a Great Meal. I take my wife to Peasant Village on special occasions and we have never had a bad meal/experience. Chef Jason prepares excellent fine dining options with a changing menu that never fails to satisfy. The crawfish dip is an excellent appetizer. The restaurant is in an old house and has a great atmosphere.
Great for Lunch!. The sandwiches are amazing! They are $8 which is only slightly more expensive than Schlotzkys or Smiling Moose Deli, and they are a much much higher value. To begin with, the ingredients are just so much better in quality. But most importantly, my sandwich had an inch and a half of meat on it. I’m not exaggerating. This sandwich is serious. Usually when I get something from other sandwich places, I’m still hungry afterwards. I could only finish half of my sandwich from Peasant Village. This is definitely my top 5 places to get food in San Angelo. Highly recommended.
Excellent!. My husband and I went here for dinner a few weeks ago. We were seated immediately and greeted by the chef who welcomed us to the restaurant. The service was great, and quick! We shared a bottle of Cabernet, two of their classic dinner dishes, and dessert. It was delicious and a great experience, I highly recommend it!
Great Sandwiches!. My boyfriend and I had lunch at Peasant Village last week. Not only were both sandwiches excellent, but Chef Jason was very pleasant. We plan on making Peasant Village a regular lunch venue from now on. The gyro was excellent and definitely satisfied my craving. There are a few good sandwich places in town, but I have to say this is the best sandwich venue in town. I can’t wait to come back soon! 🙂
If you like fresh deli style sandwiches then this is the place for you. Get here early because a line forms quickly. Great chef and fast service. Super good sandwiches and salads.
