Dishonest manament and ownership. Went in with a gift certificate. The server checked with management to make sure certificate was valid. We did inform the server that if it was not valid we would no be sinning there. The server however, confirmed that management said it was valid. Odered, ate, and went to payout. The manager tried using the cetificate and it was not valid. Went in the next day and managment was very rude and sarcastic and told me that I shouldn’t have listened to the server and that there was nothing they could do unless I came back in to dine again and that I would have to spend a certain amour for the certificate to be valid. None of this was explained the night before. We will never go back in to Peppercorn.

BEWARE!!! Owner won’t accept restaurant.com certificates after you purchase them!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!. I purchased a $25 certificate from restaurant.com for Peppercorn. My family used to enjoy going occasionally. When we went to eat there yesterday, we found a sign on the door that said they would not accept restaurant.com gift certificates (they were the ones who sold them)! I went inside and spoke to the hostess. She said the owner would not take them, despite the fact that they were already paid for. They would not even offer to redeem for the price I paid for it. They lost a lot of money from me over one free meal. It’s dishonest to sell certificates, then refuse to honor them after the customer has already paid for them. I will never go back. It doesn’t matter how good the food is or isn’t. Sorry, Peppercorn, you lose!!!
The special of the day was great BBQ brisket. Have my own catering business so I know my smoking of MEAT. Very well done. To all the other reviewers can’t say nothing nice. Then say it to their face. Bet you won’t say a word. Great place to eat. Never been disappointed. Yea baby.
The food is always good when we go and the service is usually good but tonight was horrible i was deeply embarrassed. First i was trying to put my fussy one year old to sleep so he wouldn’t bother other people so i went out in the little shop area with both arms full of baby and the owners mother came over and watched me like a hawk never said a word to me just watched me then the waiter had ordered more catfish for my husband but he was done so he brought it to him as we were boxing up our other food so he put it in the to go box. The owners mother came over and griped us out for taking it. What were we supposed to do? The waiter saw he was done before he brought it out. So i left both to go boxes and told the bus boy we were leaving it and the lady could have it back. Very rude and unprofessional. Will NEVER go back there Again! Other customers heard her talk to us!!! The food is good but that woman is very rude!!!!
