Great stop with a unique retro atmosphere. I went with friends for lunch (party of 9), and felt the service was good. Great pizza, calzones, and drinks.
Stango’s is a pretty nice spot and tries to revive the old soda fountain style of the 1950s and 60s. It even has a jukebox filled with oldies. The setting can be a bit loud depending on how many people are in the place. They talk up their pizza but there are better spots for pizza in San Angelo. But the ice cream is unbeatable. They serve Henry’s Ice Cream, which has a pretty high fat content. It is a delight and worth going there for.
