Pretty authentic Vietnamese place with delicious pho. The chicken pho has a different and unique taste. Appetizers are tasty, especially the sprig rolls and the tofu fish, which is a fried fish cake. Other dishes besides pho are also good.
Phantastic pho! After suffering the sticker shock of Shogun’s Steak & Sushi, we found ourselves here. And I am so glad we did! The spring rolls were good, but the special pho was amazing. Balanced, flavorful stock with an assortment of beef delicacies. The staff was helpful and fast. We will be back next time we are in San Angelo.
So the first time I visited this place I gave them a positive review. Since then I’ve gotten carry out several times and always had issues. About a week ago I picked carry out for myself and a coworker and my meal had and ink pen in it! I’m not kidding, a regular blue writing utensil just laying in the to go box on top of my noodles. How the heck does one miss that? Tonight I decided to give them another chance, largely because it’s one of the very few places you can get pho in San Angelo. I waited 45 minutes for a to go order! 20 of those minutes were after they had closed and the restaurant was almost empty at which point the cashier’s excuse was that they were really busy and short handed. I watched two couples come in, sit down, and eat, before I got my simple to-go pho. Amazingly enough I was asked twice during this wait to repeat my order. I will not be going back.
Good Pho and egg rolls, quick service and the water even tasted good. Good to see other cuisines are coming into SA. Everything tasted fresh.
