I did not enjoy the food. The salad bar was old and not many choices. The service was rude. The atmosphere was great. It was very pricey. They charged us $4 for a sweet potato substitute of fries and brought out 4 sweet potato fries. When we asked about it, the waitress said, its Mrs. Bettys rule, talk to her!

The atmosphere and decor is lovely here and the steak is as good as they claim. I love the filet and it was cooked to perfection. The sides arent great though and the veggies are over cooked. I also tried the broccoli cheddar soup and it was almost inedible.

Wow! What a treat. I’ve heard about this legendary Texassteakhouse and decided to give it a try after a long drive from Louisiana. If my hometown had anything of this caliber, they would put all of our steakhouses out of business overnight. Quality of food, service, and ambience was first rate. I will be back again! I don’t understand the negative reviews as I have eaten in top rated steakhouses in both Dallas and Houston and they don’t compare to Zentner’s.

Always wanted to eat there….NEVER again!!!. My ribeye and my wife’s sirloin were both so soaked in garlic they were inedible. The ribeye was not marbled…..just a tough, truly unbelievably fatty steak. We had heard this was THE place to get a great steak…..not so….. just a REALLY SAD dining experience. The one bright spot was we had a really good server.

Not the restaurant I remember! Cutting too many corners. Artificial bacon bits and shredded processed cheese on the baked potato. Had to ask for another potato as my first was cold. Steak incredibly salty. Probably won’t be back.

This place was amazing!! I was skeptical because of the other reviews on here, but decided to give it a shot. I wish we lived closer to San Angelo. I would definitely be back. The service was great, but the food was the best I’ve had in a long while. The huge 16oz sirloin was cooked perfectly. The seasoning was spot on. I found myself sopping up as much of the extra as possible. My husband got the pork chops. He is still raving about them a day later. He goes on and on about the taste and the enormous portion. The fries were delicious. The sweet potatoe fries were the best I’ve had, ever. The only complaints I have are with the home made ranch dressing and the fact that they had run out of cheese cake. The dressing was like coating a salad in sour cream, not for me. The homemade croutons made up for it though. They could have just brought me a bowl of those and I would have been happy.
