Great place to eat or just have a couple of drinks to unwind after a long day. had conferences for work not to far away and decided to see a place where the locals hang out. The staff was very friendly. Everytime i am in town i will be stopping by. thanks for a great time
Very bad service. We drove from Houston for a second try. First dinner there was fine. Second time was a bust.We brought friends for their first visit. It took way to long just to get a bucket of beer to our table. I caulked that up to the fact they were busy. Our waitress was nowhere to be found. The assistant manager would stop by and we would ask for our waitress(should not need to do this) Ordered appetizers(took 45 min) Ok they were still a little busy but not that busy. Now its 9:00pm and almost no one is eating food. We order dinner 3 fried shrimp dinners and a fried fish. Took 1 hour!!! Horrible service and way over priced.
Party Place Attached to a Serious Restaurant. Seafood Platter features oysters, large shrimp, catfish & stuffed shrimp for $17, either fried or grilled. I selected for the sides excellent shrimp slaw and hand-battered onion rings. Portions are generous, huge actually. Menu is diverse, ranging from seared tuna, court bullion, bisque & ettoufe to burgers, fish tacos & Philly cheesesteak. Prices are reasonable, service is homey,(but attentive) and the view of Galveston Bay is killer at this casual new restaurant. This is a serious restaurant that has a party side. Outside are 2 decks: bottom deck is covered, top deck is open. There’s a stage for live music (probably on weekends, not sure).Once this place catches on, it’s sure to attract diners and party animals alike!
