What Sandwich?. Unfortunately I did not get to try because after 20 minutes of waiting the chef was unable to figure out how to make one of their signature sandwichs. Management was unapologetic.
RUN! Terrible and over priced.
1/04/13- got reubens,cheese and brocolli soup, some blinzes. bill $47.00….sandwiches were good but at least 50 percent over priced. blinzes were not good.cheese and brocolli soup mediocre. food and prices are authentic new york city…some of the customers as well…wont be back.
Just like NYC. I was running through The Woodlands on my way back to DFW and almost miss this place. My husband (who is for New York) and I stopped for lunch. How I wish this was closer to us in DFW. What a horrible set up. Stand in line reading menu, check worse than Burger King? No where to wait for pick up. Really???? All gimmick No ambience, so we took it to go? Who knows if it’s good. I wouldn’t go back for the stupid set up. how about less gimmick and good food?
Fried pickleeees!. Can’t get enough of Katz’s when I’m in the area! I’m a frequent diner at the Montrose location. =)Bring your appetite because the sandwiches are huge! And grab a cheesecake shake for dessert if you still have room after. =)
Awful. My company orders food from various restaurants about 10 times a month. We decided to give Katz’s Express a try. What a mistake! We should have known by the attitude of the woman that took our phone order. She was obviously in a hurry and irritated that we had so many (8) orders. Half way thru the conversation, she hung up on the lady giving the order. When we called back, she didn’t even apologize. When we went to pick up the order, once again, we were rushed. Our girl tried to check the order to make sure everything was accurate, but the man at the counter rushed her and said it’s all there. Well, guess what, it wasn’t. Not only did they forget 3 items, what they sent looked like it had been tossed in the boxes, the sandwich bread was stale, no one enjoyed their lunch. It was horrible!! Run from this place!
