Where;s the SMOKER???. I am CONCERNED when there is NO SMOKER at a BBQ..ON SITE!! I LOVE the smell of the wood smoking, but I drove all around and did NOT see evidence of SMOKE or SMOKER..??? Was GOOD BBQ…think the sauces sort of overpowered the flavors. WE did a BBQ day, got mass amounts and went home. Recommended sides were…BLAND….why can NO ONE take your BASIC FOOD SERVICE veggies or sides and ADD a FEW SPICES to JAZZ them UP?? WE were TOLD the POTATO SALAD was the BEST…we had BETTER from Wal-Mart…but…the MEAT SHOULD be the FOCUS…ribs did FALL OFF of the bone…and sliced brisket was tasty. Again…WHO or WHERE is this meat COOKED/SMOKED??
I swear this place gets better each time I eat here. Love the subtly of the smoke on the ribs!
Tops in Texas. Found them about 3 years ago and I am glad I did. Great BBQ, great sides, great service. Big portions for the price. I would would say top 5 BBQ places in Texas.
Good BBQ. Not the best in town but good. I think the portions used to be bigger so that’s a little disappointing. Great service though!
Me and my husband both liked this place. We had the ribs which were excellent. My husband ordered the jalapeo cornbread casserole and raved about how good it was. The servers were very nice and pleasant. Overall a very nice experience.
Good food, bad service. Visiting last night I was quite p.o.’d very quickly by the attitude of the staff. Have worked in the hospitality industry for 15 years, the majority being fine dining….so I am hard to please, but the attitude from the cashier/server and one of the kitchen staff was unbearable. My father, polite to a fault, was the only thing keeping me from causing a scene. They seemed to absolutely abhor simple questions, like quantity size. They basically treated these particular guests like imbeciles. Well, I have culinary arts training from a prestigious school in a gastronomic capital…not to mention years of management experience in 1 of only 6 5-star restaurants in Dallas. So, again I am hard to please. That being said, I would have fired 2 out of four workers last night for attitude alone. Come to find out, one of them is an owner. The other owner was there as well. He was remarkable, kind, and full of smiles. The food was good. The pulled pork very good, cabbage was excellent, brisket..good, potato salad…way too cold (should be chilled, not cold) Overall, four stars on food, .5 star on serice, 2 star on atmosphere.
Good BBQ but small portions for the price. Very nice staff.
