I’ve been here a few different times with co-workers and haven’t been very impressed. I feel like this has always been a popular place to eat for many Shermanites, but I’m not sure why. I don’t eat burgers so I can’t say a lot about that, although my girlfriend loves a good burger and says you just can’t find a good one in Sherman. I’ve had the chicken tacos and felt the meat was sub par and they use just super thin bagged shredded cheese and packaged tortillas so nothing special there. I realize it’s not a Mexican place, it’s a burger joint, but then make a phenomenal chicken sandwich and take the lame tacos off the menu. I’ve also had the BLT, which was good, but let’s face it, if you’re a restaurant that can’t make a BLT then you don’t need to be in business.

For the past 35 years, a friend and I have eaten every Saturday a meal at City Limits. The food has always been consistently good, and the Service has always been excellent. The secret to their success, I believe, has been that one of the owners is usually present. It’s now smoke free!Better fish & chips than Red Lobster. Generous portions. Good salads. Great burgers. Even the diet plate is good.
