Don’t waste your meal here. If you want BBQ just go on up the highway a little farther to Rib Crib or Cackle and Oink. I have had Dickey’s catered food and at other sites and it was decent. Maybe I expect less when it’s free.
This is the worst BBQ I have ever ate in my life. I had the 2 meat dinner brisket was so dry and tough I about choked, sausage was cold and tasted like it had been sitting out way too long, baked beans had a disgusting after taste, potato salad tasted like instant mashed potatoes with way too much sweet relish and no seasonings at all except for a little paprika they put on top to try and make it look better. The Dr. Pepper I got was so flat. There was not a single good thing about this. I threw it away and went somewhere else. I will never go again and will never recommend this to anyone.
I’ve been to other Dickey’s restaurants, but this franchise isn’t one that I’d visit again. I don’t see much business going through there and the food looked old the time I was there. Head a mile or two up the road on Texome pkwy for some better BBQ options in Sherman, TX.
Nice alternative to fast food on road trip. Inside a gas station, but very clean. Meat us hand sliced, and service us cafeteria style. Side salad was good –all romaine lettuce.
