Another prime example of a great local joint that is overshadowed by more popular chains (olive garden). Do not be deterred by the physical setting, it’s a little dated, but the outstanding food will have you forgetting all about that. They have lunch specials starting at $5, but even without the specials, the prices are very reasonable. The eggplant florentine was absolutely fantastic. I also have had the calazone, and it was was probably the best I’ve ever had. I hate that the restaurant is never full, but Olive Garden usually has a wait. This is a wonderful local restaurant I highly encourage anyone to try the next time they are in the mood for Italian.
Went on a Tuesday evening, there was a large party but other than that was fairly slow. Service was good. The rolls that were brought out had very little flavor, we ordered garlic bread from the appetizer menu, much better flavor and was under $2. We ordered Shrimp Alfredo and Chicken Aristocrat which was chicken with eggplant on top with spaghetti and pink sauce. Both were very good. The shrimp Alfredo came with a salad, we ordered a Caesar salad and the dressing was good but the salad was watery. The building isn’t brand new but decent. The bathrooms were really the only negative aspect.

Drove up to Sherman from Dallas on a whim. Found this place for dinner. Brad is made in house and tastes fantastic! Prices are very affordable, for me anyway because of being used to Dallas prices. (Drive a little, save a lot.) Bread. Yes beautiful bread. Great mix of crisp crust chewy bread. Minestrone soup is more substantial than one would expect. It’s made with chicken stock. I had chicken aristocrat, we also had Alfredo, lasagne and chicken parm. This was a wonderful meal and we had the restaurant all to ourselves. Yes, I’ll drive up here again.
Cheap and Tasty. This is a great spot for college students to hit on Sunday nights. The food is actually really good yet completely affordable for people like me who are always on a budget. I’ve had the chicken Marsala and the Hawaiian Pizza.
