We went to eat here last night for the first time and it was an excellent dining experience. We started with the risotto and mozzarella cheese balls which we actually didn’t care for. Reading back my review at this point is pretty hilarious, but it gets better I promise. Someone brought bread to our table (rolls to be exact) but instead of just putting them on the table, the guy placed one each on our small plates, which I thought was odd. The rolls were really good though. My partner and oldest son ordered french onion soup which they loved. I pretty much only eat chicken and unfortunately they only had one chicken meal; chicken picatta, so I ordered that but subbed my asparagus for grilled zucchini and squash. My youngest son ordered chicken strips and french fries (even though we didn’t see that on the menu), my oldest son and partner each ordered the grass fed filet with asparagus. The filets were cooked to perfection and very flavorful. The asparagus wasn’t the best asparagus they’ve had but no biggie. My youngest son’s chicken strips looked so good I tried them and so did my partner and WOW, they are AMAZING!!! He loved his meal! My chicken picatta was good, but I wish the chicken had more flavor, would be good if it were grilled! My parmesan mashed potatoes were INCREDIBLE! So, we had seen someone getting desserts and they bring a tray of them over for you to look at. We were told that they are all made in-house and they looked incredible. My sons decided to get the peanut butter ganache and split it. My partner decided on the chocolate cake and had it split so I could take half of it home. When they brought the desserts to us they brought the ganache to both of my boys and the plating was beautiful! But we thought they didn’t split it, that they brought them each one, however, when we asked our waitress she said that was one piece split…the pieces were still BIG! My partner said the chocolate cake was out of this world. She had ordered a cup of coffee as well and she said it was reminiscent of great coffee house coffee. We loved the relaxing and peaceful environment, the friendly staff, and the wonderful 40’s jazz style music playing. If I could change anything, I’d have more appetizers that don’t include seafood or fish, and I’d have a couple other vegetarian or chicken dishes for people like me! Would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed a delightful forty-second anniversary dinner here. The wedge salads were crisp, and the waitress arranged for substitutions for blue cheese for my husband. We both also ordered salmon which was nicely grilled and topped with a maple glaze that was not too sweet. My cheese cake was certainly creamy and rich,; the crust was layered with sliced almonds. Fresh fruit would have been a nice touch. Service was friendly. The chef, attentive.

Lunch 5/1/2015. Menu we sampled: Wedge Salad with Chicken, Seared Crab cakes, and Seared Ahi Tuna.Wedge Salad with Chicken was OK but needed more tomato’s, red onion’s, and cheese.Seared Ahi Tuna portions was to small for the money and was not seared properly, should have been rolled in sesame seeds and seared on a good hot griddle.Seared Crab cakes made me wonder where’s the Crab? cakes are to loose and over seasoned. If Outback Steakhouse was a Seven Fulbelli’s would be a Three, they really need a trained chief instead of a cook.

My wife and I tried Fulbelli’s for the first time last night. I’ll be honest. We aren’t used to dining so fancy, so we were a little uncomfortable at first. Our server was great and we started to relax. I had the Chilean sea bass which was the special for the evening. It was fantastic! My wife had the pan seared duck and she said it was great. We will definitely be coming back.

My favorite restaurant in this area. Some of my favorite items so far are the calamari, blue cheese chips, eggs Benedict over crab cakes, chocolate cake but everything I get there is fabulous. I am a picky diner as I am known by many to be an excellent cook. We also go to upscale restaurants frequently. I also give $100 gift cards to my clients very often. They love that surprise!

Can’t go wrong with Fulbelli’s. Despite the funny name, this is an elegant, upscale restaurant with great food, great atmosphere, great people and great owners. The Chef is also co-owner and he is very passionate, talented and creative. He loves his work and it shows in his food. I highly recommend you try Fulbelli’s……the nicest place to eat for 40 miles in all directions around Sherman, TX.

AMAZING!. Phenomenal! We went here for my husband’s birthday, and everything was delicious! Can’t wait to go back! – The fresh bread was warm, and the butter was room temperature and soft, so you didn’t demolish your bread trying to butter it! – For an appetizer, we got the Arancini with White Truffle Oil. It was very well cooked, and the marinara sauce was very flavorful.- I ordered the K Bar K Pasture Fed Pork Chop for dinner, which was TERRIFIC! I ordered it medium, and it was cooked perfectly, as well as seasoned perfectly. So scrumptious, I was tempted to pick up the bone and chew on it! The pork chop was served with a blackberry jalapeno sauce on the side. The sauce was really unique and tasty, but I thought the pork chop was so perfect on its own, I chose not to use the sauce for the pork chop! (I dunked some bread in the sauce!) The mashed potatoes that came with the pork chop were also spectacular. They were very firm and delicious. -We were too full for dessert, but with the check, the waiter brought out two little pumpkin spice tartlets that were sheer yumminess. The cream in them was so whippy and fabulous.Really delicious. A much needed restaurant for the area. So many chains and fast food joints, blech. This place is a stand-out star!
