I visited relatives this weekend and ate here with family. One family member has severe brain trauma and requires a service dog. We had trouble with this restaurant refusing to allow the dog once before and thought the problem was rectified but apparently not. I felt as if we were scrutinized and caught one staff member peeking around a doorway to watch us as we ate our dinner. Please IHOP do some training with your employees on working with the handicapped and their animals. On the bright side a waitress named Kendra was delightful, friendly and did a wonderful job of dealing with our special needs. Kendra was not our waitress but she went out of her way to make our handicapped family member feel comfortable. Great job, Kendra!
I’ve always had good food and service from here. Sometimes the other customers that have stumbled in from the bars are pretty loud but this is only sometimes around 12am-2am.
Sub-par. While the staff was extremely friendly and seemed to be very confident about their restaurant experience (they reminded us to take an online survey 2x), the experience was not very appetizing. The restaurant smells like stale cigarette smoke. The bathroom stall door can’t open all the way because it hits the toilet, and they recycled pot roast in mushroom gravy to make my machacas. I have had this same dish at the IHOP in tulsa and it was great. Machacas should not come to your table with mushroom gravy mixed in it. Since it was breakfast, I suspect that it was made with last night’s pot roast.
