Ordered a $10 meal that was elegantly described on the menu, only to get 4 terribly frozen taquitos that I could pick up from wal mart. Will never come here again. Also, a 4 year old could make a better margarita.
50/50. Been 6 times….half bad, half good…gave it a thumbs up..because I THINK it has potential to please me…AND, EVERYONE up in Sherman LOVES it..so either I am spoiled from Dallas/Austin Tex Mex…or my expectations are too high. This place is PACKED, all of the time..with ALL AGES…young to old!!! Maybe it is me….if I compare this to Panchos, it is great….lol…..if I compare it to others, it is average… I will go back, and hopefully with get that entree that WOWS (it is NOT the Fajita Salad, (which I can throw together better at home…..a bag of lettuce and some meat….really???…) The Enchiladas were TASTY…maybe just regular Fajitas and not a bowl of lettuce???

Just got a to go order from here, HUGE disappointment,order was wrong, food was slopped together in one box and cold, took one taste and knew it all came out of a can. 0 stars never again!
What the heck happened. I hadn’t been here in quite a while because honestly my wife dislikes the food here but one day in November we stopped in, she was willing to give it another chance. I wish she had not. The food was pretty bad and that’s being kind. You have no idea how I hate leaving bad reviews but I have to be honest. Maybe someday someone will open a good Mexican Restaurant around Sherman.
We have eaten here about 6 times and each time my food was not good at all. This time I ordered chicken fajitas and I really hate to admit this but it was not a good experience. To start with it was HUGE chunks of onion and no peppers. They brought no grated cheese and I did request it. They brought pico de gallo but I requested plain chopped tomatoes. While I waited on the waiter to come back around my food got cold. He brought cheese but not the tomatoes, now my food was beyond cold. I ended up leaving it on the table and we stopped for a burger. Believe it or not I hate leaving bad reviews but it seems the quality of food/service has certainly declined in many restaurants in this area which surprises me in this economy. You would think they’d try harder to satisfy customers. Maybe they can’t afford employees that can cook and wait tables or maybe people just don’t care anymore.
We used to eat there twice a once a week for the last several years. Not after tonight. Hostess was snotty and disrespectful. She was preoccupied with s large party and kept all other customers waiting. There were 8 other servers and 10 empty tables other than the ones being set up for the large party. No explanation, no apology. Won’t go there again. Owner should not leave someone in charge like that.
