Very disappointed. Queso was nacho cheese out of a can served cold. Service was terrible. Food was edible but $40 for a lunch for 3 was terrible. Will not be back. Don’t waste your time or money.
The Good, the bad and the ugly. (The Good) Lupe’s has excellent tamales, the best in this area. My wife and I stopped in for a meal a couple of weeks ago and decided after attempting to eat that Tamales is all they do well, at least on that day. We were the only ones there. (The Bad) The enchilada’s were ICE cold in the center so we have to assume they were frozen. They took them back to the kitchen and nuked them which made them tough and the (The Ugly) sour cream sauce on my wife’s enchilada’s was not like a sauce at all, it was more like a glob. We paid for the meal that we didn’t eat and stopped on the way home for a burger. From now on we’ll place our order for tamales and leave it at that. I hated leaving a negative review but I’m just being honest.
Almost croaked paying 5 bucks for salsa but…. Ordered out for the first time from this place and the place did not have a soul eating there. Completely empty and very quiet. Food was ready when I got there and they explained the best way to heat up the tamales. Was really surprised when they rang up the salsa for 5 bucks.That being said, the smoked brisket tamales are amazing. Some of the best tamales I’ve had. And the pricey salsa? Above average. Wish they had a better location and worked on their prices… would definitely be a repeat customer!

Good- for lunch. I recommend going here for lunch but not for dinner…we were the only people there at dinner time and it was awkwardly quiet
Yummy Food!. My husband and I love eating at Lupe’s. We started out getting tamales, then started coming for breakfast, and now we dine there at any time of day because the menu has proved to be delicious.They have new spinach enchiladas that are DELICIOUS (I prefer them mild, but you can get them spicy), and their chile rellenos are pretty good, too. I don’t care much for their rice or their beans. It’s actually cheaper for me to order enchiladas a la carte and I get three instead of the two included in the enchilada plate.I wish their prices were a little lower. It’s good food but make the side dishes amazing before you charge so much for a platter. Overall, a great choice for authentic Mexican food.
