I’ll admit, I had reservations before I stepped foot inside this location. I’d eaten at a Rib Crib in Missouri a few years prior, and left feeling less than stellar. However, we’re creatures of habit around here and most everything seems unappetizing when we’re going round and round about where to eat. And since neither my husband or I had tried Sherman’s newest restaurant, we decided to walk on in.We were seated at a table less than 5 minutes after arriving and almost immediately had a sweet waitress taking our drink orders. The menu is varied, but isn’t too overwhelming. Hubs ordered the St. Louis ribs plate and I took a Smokestack BBQ Sandwich. He thought the ribs needed more seasoning, but then again, he’s a salt fiend. I was pleasantly surprised with the sandwich. Great bun, tender chopped brisket, not too greasy. The fries were spot on and plentiful. I also ordered a side of cole slaw, but wasn’t a fan. And at $1.99 for an a la carte side, I was disappointed to leave it sitting there.Overall, it was pretty good: staff was friendly & attentive, food arrived quickly and I’m surprised to say we’ll definitely be back. I had The Club with Seasoned Fries. It was the best club I’ve ever had and they don’t skimp on portions. My husband had the Two Meat Combination Plate with ribs and chopped beef. My husband was very pleased as well. Well worth the money. The atmosphere was great and the service was wonderful. I highly recommend The Rib Crib. We will be back!!
Not good. Sliced beef brisket dry and tasteless. Should have went to Rudy’s in Allen. Not even close to what I would call good BBQ
MEAT LOVER. SERIOUSLY ? ? ? ! ! ! Who goes to a BBQ restaurant and does NOT expect there to be pork ribs? Some people are just clueless and should not eat out!I have eaten at the RIB CRIB in Sherman, TX numerous times and have always been pleased with the consistency in quality of the food and service. The menu offers something for everyone to enjoy! The food is always fabulous, hot and served with a smile. They will answer any questions you may have about the food, drinks, etc.Love the RIB CRIB and would highly recommend it ! Two thumbs up!
Liars!!!!!!!!. I DO NOT EAT PORK! EVER! It makes me ill. I asked that the ribs that i ordered be beef. But after the horrendous reaction to the first bite, I found out that they were pork. Do not trust them. Rib Crib, quit hiring kids that dont know the difference between a pig and a cow. You have lost favor with me n my family, forever. Good luck.
