Excellent Food and Value. Great food. Love the breakfast fare. Not to mention the Gyro’s! Owners are friendly, down to earth, and real. I appreciate the hard work they have done to run this place well, socialize with local repeat guests, and stay involved with clientele and workers. Blessings to them….and good health to both Mr. (suffered some strokes after returning from visit home to Greece) and Mrs. P.

This place is outstanding! Little town atmosphere , friendliness, cleanliness ….. and cooking. Caters well to an older local crowd. Varied menu, both for breakfast and lunch. Good was hot and tasty. The service was awesome . Unruffled, relaxed and pleasant staff. Texas diner as it should be.

Wow. Great homestyle cooking. I’ve been looking for a place with a great old fashioned chicken fried steak, and I have found it. Definitely coming back.

Homestyle cooking. I grew up in the south. I now live in Taiwan; not a hot bed of southern cooking. while visiting my mom in Houston I told her the one thing I really craved was real chicken fried steak (a big one) with mashed potatoes and gravy. She told me she knew just the place, and took me to City Cafe. I left with my craving satisfied. It was great. The staff was great too. I will go back on my next trip to the U.S.
