The food here was fresh and tasty. Their seafood soup was pretty fantastic, as were their blackened fish tacos. The kids loved their grilled fish filets.
Overall, this place is exactly what I was looking for! I wanted a taste of the island.. The Mexican Seafood flare. Cap’n Roy’s hit the nail on the head. I do wish they had free chips and salsa… But that’s what every Texan wants ANYWHERE. It’s decently priced for an independently owned Resteraunt. I wish it was near the water so the view was better than a scooter rental shop.. But they make up for it with their excellent flavors! I got the grilled shrimp taco plate and my boyfriend got the deluxe Mexican platter… He even was kind enough to give me his guacamole (which is amazing on the shrimp tacos by the way!) His platter of food was HUGE.. And he ordered one of their homemade flour tortillas (12”!!) to wrap his beans and rice in. We loved this resteraunt! Excellent fresh food!! Friendly service and reasonable prices! We ordered appetizers. The Botana appetizer is amazing!! The salsa is very unique and so fresh! The queso is chunky with jalapeos and other vegetables. We also had the chicken quesadilla. Delicious. Lastly their iced tea was so refreshing. I would come here again no question!

Tracy Wilder. My husbands oysters were slimey & not served on the half shell. You trying to poison him?My 4 bacon wrapped shrimp were over cooked & rubbery.To make up for the oysters my husband was given cheesecake swimming in sauce.The cabbage salad was excellent.
