Great for breakfast!. This place has a classic early 1960’s decor which fits a typical American diner perfect! The food is GREAT but only for a breakfast place as their lunch and or dinner items are unimpressive.
I fully agree with the poor evening service review inasmuch as I’ll never go there again. The French dip sandwich was completely inedible, and the au jus was just grease and liquid smoke. The Parmesan Chicken was terrible, and the gravy was just awful. 45 minutes to have our order taken poorly with nobody else there, and too long to receive our food after. Never again.
Love their biscuits!
7:00 a.m. breakfast meeting on a weekday. Great service, great food and great price.
The food is always fresh and tasty. I have never had a problem with the service, but I figure that those who had are probably used to being hooked up at the expense of others. The prices are low and there is never any difficulty with substitutions. Great spot!
Standard breakfast fare. We had the migas and huevos rancheros. Both were tasty, but nothing special.Be careful ordering a sweet tea- one guy in the back makes it waaaay too sweet. Linda was hilarious and great (and also makes the tea just sweet enough).
Gotta time it right. My family goes here a lot, but we’ve really noticed a disparity in service. If you go on a weekend morning, when they’re busy, service is almost always excellent. The regular morning waitresses there rock! However, our service has been so consistently bad at night that I refuse to go there for dinner anymore. We’ve had to wait for 45 minutes for our food before when there was next to no one in the restaurant. That’s another thing – if you go in the morning, you might have a wait, they’re so busy. But at dinner time, they are almost always empty. With a new competitor down the road now, it will be interesting to see if they up the ante a but in terms of service.
