I’m a big music fan, especially classic rock (which wasn’t classic rock when I first learned to love it!) and thought it was pretty cool when Rock & Brews opened. Having finally gone, I found Rock & Brews to be more the restaurant equivalent of a high school garage band than a stadium rocking superstar band. It just didn’t live up to its potential. The decor is sort of cheesy and underwhelming. While the menu is diverse, the execution was just not that good. The best part was seeing music videos playing that I hadn’t seen in years. Of course, I could play YouTube at home, grill my own burger, and maybe hang a Journey poster on the wall and I’d have just about the same experience at far less cost. Rock on down the street.
We really liked this place the one time we’ve been here! The food was good, a little pricey. Only complaint was the service was somewhat slow, despite the restaurant not being completely packed. Multiple servers at our table, so it was kind of hard to figure out who we were supposed to talk to.
It was average. I have to say I went in with super high expectations, and was a tad diappointed. I had the Asian wings. They were just alright. Nothing spectacular, but definitely not bad. Just average. My hubs had the fish tacos and said they were just ok. I’d go again to try other food, but it’s definitely not a super must, for me.
