Its an average place. If you want a restaurant where you can chill with your friends, this place is to go! It has good music playing and the food is quite average. The presentation of the food is to the point. Honey dipped steak ribs with mashed potatoes is a must try. Food – 4/5Ambience – 4/5Service – 3.5/5

Great location. Nice display of their famous steaks. Like the peanuts in the bucket. Ordered 2 sizes of the ribeye. The smaller size steak wa done medium and was tasty n flavorful. It was juicy like I expected. The other one was a little bigger n a little dry. Salad was great addition n veggies were ok. Average service and tables and chairs could be drier and cleaner floor would be a plus.

After spending most of the day in Fort Worth, we hit up Texas Roadhouse on the way back home for a later dinner. Weve only been to the McKinney location before..Om: I really enjoy this restaurant, the visits to the McKinney one in the past have always been good. It was around 10:00pm on a Saturday night, so we got seated immediately expect a wait if more around the traditional dinner time. Free peanuts and rolls while we decided what to order is always a good deal and a Texas Roadhouse staple! Our waitress was friendly and helpful through the evening, no issues there. We ordered the appetizer of cheese friesfor some reason I remember them being better. While still tasty, using thick cut fries seems to make it easier for the cheese to just kind of slide off, leaving me with little cheese or bacon on each fry as I pulled it from the plate. The main course, a filet with a side salad and corn, was goodexcept that my medium steak was more on the medium rare side, leaning towards rare. Still tasty, it wasnt quite as good as the one I had at the McKinney location. Corn and salad were adequate sides. If I were trying to convince someone to eat here, I would tell them you can get a good steak at a good price, a neat Texas atmosphere, and the free bread/peanuts combo cant be beat. I would also say that they are on par or better than similar competitors. If I were trying to convince them to go somewhere else, I might say that based on this one experience the cooking of the steak is hit or miss, and that you can find better appetizers somewhere else. An uneven experience when compared to our visit to the McKinney location, but still hit the spot at this time of night, not to mention it was still an adventure with my Beautiful Nom!Nom: It was late when we arrived and I was hungry! Most of the time we have to call ahead for the McKinney location so it was nice to walk in and be seated immediately. Im not a big shelling peanut fan but I am a fan of their rolls! They come out hot and delicious. The cheese fries were ok, last time they seemed crispier and had more toppings but it was late so who knows. I had the prime rib and it was also ok, kind of dry which I chalk up to the end of the night portions. Now, my baked potato was greatness with lots of butter and cheese and a nice salty skin! That was good eating the next day for breakfast and dinner to! I had lots to take home and plenty of overcooked parts of the prime rib to give to the doggies! It was late so I give them a break on the dry meat and bonus points on the winning baked potato. Fact of the matter is Id go back any time with my handsome love!

The yeast rolls melt in your mouth and the ribs fall off the bone. Oh, and the green beans are some of the best around. Sure its crowded and noisy with peanut shells all over the floor, but thats what a roadhouse is supposed to be. I have never gone by there and the parking lot was not full. That speaks for itself.

Good. Catfish is good and the service is good.

  • Tastebuddy

Awful. Over-crowded, loud, forgetful staff, with food that is less than tasteful. If you don’t care about quality and you’re all about quanity, this is the perfect place!
