Being new to belton/temple, my wife and I thought that we would try this place. We should have just driven by without stopping. The patties that they used were already cooked, sitting in a metal container on the grill, and they just reheated them. This technique is commonly used to eliminate waste in a burger joint I used to work at. I find this completely unnecessary. Just cook them when you need them for Pete’s sake! We also ordered a shake, and it was made with softserve ice cream that had clearly expired. She just spooned it out of this big vat that was in the freezer. It tasted like freezer burn.
Kristen that’s fine if you’re ok paying 10 bucks for a supermodel portion of food, but I think I’m speaking for the rest of us when I say if you spend 10 bucks you’d better get a ton of food. If they want to be a diet burger chain then they can slim down their prices first.
Great Burgers. I tried a mushroom swiss burger and it was delicious. It was a perfect portion too. I think the people that complain the portions sizes are too small are used to the oversized portions you receive these days that cause us to over eat.
What’s all the hubbub, Bub?. Folks have raved . . . why? 1) Price: I spent lot’s of $$ and got small portions. Example: Onion Rings. the difference in a large and a small: Small=11 Large=15 and the price? A dollar or so.2) Quality: My stomach was sour for two days.How do they stay in business?
Good Diet Restaraunt. Good restaraunt for a diet b/c their food is over priced and you dont get much of it. I spent almost ten dollars for a burger and fry and did not get near full. Food is good but too small of portions.
