Wish I could tell you how the food was. I sat for 10 min without even a menu to look at. No one came to greet me or get a drink order. It’s not like it was busy at the time either, maybe 4 tables.
Great legacy place for a burger. I have been going to Jody’s for as long as I have lived. We love the baked potatoes, burgers, onion rings. I want to try the fried green tomatoes next time. A slice of the old style family diners.
Nothing special. Would not recommend, there are much better places to eat in temple. Service was was slow and unattentive.
Just like home. Jody’s is great….the burgers, the cfs, the chicken fried chicken is the best around.The wait staff, espeically Christy are super friendly and great @ what they do.One of the few places we go, that our waitress always greets us with a smile, knows we start every meal with a cold Coors light, and how we like our salads (without asking). We try to go at least once a week, sometimes twice…..that’s how afforadable it is.
Unimaginative menu replete with items fried a golden brown. If you are scared of losing weight and not appearing like you fit in with the general population of Temple, then this place is for you!
Best burgers and chicken fried steaks In town if in town have to go before u leave remember go to one with canopy over it there is two right next to each other old jodys is the best tell joey I told u to stop by and get something for the kids
