The food and atmosphere are fantastic! This is a must and we will be returning. The Osso Bucco was tender and full of flavor. The Spaghetti alla carbonara was seasoned perfectly. Don’t skip dessert, these are worth a trip alone. I had the Panna Cotta is so smooth and creamy, absolutely delicious and wonderful!
Best Italian in Temple!. This evening my family and I decided to do a bit of exploring. We always like trying new foods and were delighted to find La Riv. I felt under dressed in my t-shirt and jeans but we were welcomed into this fancy establishment as if we were each in an a million dollar suit. I was instantly put at ease by the friendly staff and the waiter politely led us through the menu. The place was super clean (even the restrooms) and my glass was full the whole time and they were so sneaky about filling it, I don’t even recall them coming by. The food was FANTASTIC. I had the Alfredo (Although it was called something fancier than that) and it was by far the best I have ever had! The price point is similar to that of Olive Garden but I dare say, the food was even better. I sampled the food of everyone at my table and every dish was perfect. There are no salt or pepper shakers on the tables, although it wasn’t required because the food was wonderfully seasoned. The staff was attentive (even those not serving our table) and the owner came to our table twice to make sure we were happy with our food. She also went above and beyond by inviting my son to see the wood burning oven that his pizza was cooked in! The kitchen was super clean and the staff all waved as we entered. I cannot say enough about this wonderful place! If you haven’t tried it, you owe it to yourself to go! You will not be disappointed!
The restaurant presents as an upper crust level restaurant. It is a nice place to relax and take your significant other to impress. We had the special (squab) and ravioli and the fettuccine with spinach and I had the spaghetti arrabiata. All were excellent. The bread pudding is unique and a must have. I had the panna cotta limoncello. This is not cheap. But you will impress. The owner/chef came out and spent a few minutes getting feedback. This is one of the few high class restaurants in the Belton area.
Limited menu that is over priced and comes with stuck up service. Foot is mediocre at best. Will never return.
Quality is WONDERFUL. We went for lunch and quantity filled us up. Portions are probably what we should be eating and ingredients were top notch!! My wife had a fire oven pizza and I had a pasta dish. They came with soup or salad and price was $10 – $12 for the entree. We also had dessert and they were wonderful and prices were between $4-$5 dollars. We LOVED IT!! Our server was great and very knowledgable!!
Overpriced, for amount of foodYou get.
Great new place, all fresh, great decor. For me, i loved it, for some not used to the quality, the lunch menu is limited. Want to try dinner but a great new place.
