Rude staff on last two occasions. I have visited good life bakery several times and really like the food. The gentleman, that seems to be the owner, is extremely nice and provides wonderful service. unfortunately, my last two experiences have been horrible. Time before last, the woman Taking orders was not talkative and rude. I think she was upset that I walked in 15 minutes before closing. My order was a grilled cheese sandwich and ham sandwich; not a large order or time intensive to make but I guess she was ready to leave.. My Last visit (and will forever be my last visit) I was denied my order of a peanut butter sandwich. no explanation of why, the lady (different than last) just simply said no. So I paid for my bag of chips and left. I think (but this is just an assumption since she wouldn’t explain to me) she wouldn’t sell me a pb&j sandwich because it was on the kids menu. But I wouldn’t have minded paying an extra fee for a child menu item like many other establishments apply for such orders, or change my order if that wasn’t feasible but since an explanation wasn’t provided, I’m assuming they chose to not serve me. That’s their prerogative just as it is mine to never be a customer of theirs again and I will certainly never suggest it like I have in the past.
Fantastic tasting salads and soups!. My husband and I have recently discovered the Good Life Cafe and are very excited to share the news with everyone. The salads are so delicious and, yes, you could make them at home, but most people don’t have all the wonderful ingredients to use without making a big list and going to the store. My favorite is their Greek salad with the hummus and my husband loves the spinach salad. Every soup we have tried is outstanding. The dressings are very fresh and tasty. We never leave one shred of anything in the bowl! The prices are great as well. We can get an extremely enjoyable light healthy dinner here and the price is so much better than the upscale Temple area restaurants we ordinarily go to. We hope everyone in the area who enjoys healthy food will come out and support this great new cafe!

Great Place!. So happy to have a place like this in Temple! Delicious food and a great atmosphere. More of a lunch place but also a place you can pop in and grab iced coffee or pastries! They provide indoor and outdoor seating. Loved the food and will be back!

Sandwiches, soups, salads, chicken pot pie. Nice atmosphere. They make their own bread. Super tasty. My favorite is the multi-grain. I also recommend the cranberry chicken salad melt. Get half a sandwich, drink and a soup or salad for around $6.79. Good, healthy meal for about what you pay at a chain fast food joint.
