Sexy bartenders!
Awesome Place. The atmosphere is great, the staff is friendly. The food is outstanding. My wife and I have found our spot in Temple for Food, drinks and entertainment. Classy place with a lounge, bar, and killer menu.
Too high class for Temple?. There is something missing when it comes to the Green Door. I’m not sure what it is, but things definitely need to change or I do not see that bar staying open. I have heard on many occasions that people feel as though the prices are way to high. They can go down to Cheeve’s which is a higher end restaurant and get happy hour prices all day. Not saying that’s what Green Door needs to do, but it is a little pricy for Temple, Texas. I’ve been there a few times and I guess it’s the main guy bartender that has waited on me a couple times. He doesn’t seem like he’s friendly at all. He gets your drinks and then doesn’t say another word to you unless you ask him for another one. I really like the girl bartender with the blonde hair. She’s taken care of me and my wife once and she actually makes conversation with customers. I do not see this place staying open if things don’t change for the better. When the business starts making changes and lowering their prices somewhat then maybe the place will take off, but until then I really do not recommend it.
Mmmm…. The chips (homemade) and queso were awesome. Can’t wait to try more items! (also: the brunette bartender chick is as adorable as they come)
Everytime I go I am taken care of. It’s hard to get service like that. the food is good the drinks are awesome and my favorite thing about the Green Door is the music, they play a little bit of everything and they are always having live bands too. You should go and see the truth.
Good Food. Tried the queso, HOMEMADE chips (which were brought out sizzling) and Kobe sliders with fries – all very good! Place could use a little more lighting though.
A delightful addition to downtown. Having visited Green Door three or four times lately, I have found it to be a delightful addition to Temple’s limited sources of fine foods and night life. The menu is extensive and diverse. A friend and I are working our way through the menu and have found every dish to be a delicious surprise and perfectly proportioned. The staff are attentitive and personable.The ambiance is quite cozy and surrounded with vintage charm and elegance. A great place for lunch or after 5. We are hoping the entertainment will be as diverse as the menu.
