A small step above taco bell. It’s a decent enough place, service was adequate. Food was typical American/Mexican food. Lots of cheese and sour cream sauces and very salty meats instead of flavor and spices. If you want a full service version of Taco Bell this place is for you.
Middle of the Road. The decor was cute. The chairs are very colorful and pretty. We started with the Queso Blanco. It was good. The green sauce was kinda bland and watery. The red sauce was not bad. I ordered the Amigo Juan Special (I think that’s what it was called). It was reasonably priced for the amount of food you got, but the food was kinda bland. I am used to bold spices and you could tell that the food was cooked to please non-spicy food lovers. Usually, I put salsa over everything because I love good salsa; this time I put salsa over everything to give it some pep. When you’ve had glorious Mexican food in San Antonio (Mexican Manhattan downtown) and Fort Worth (El Rancho Grande), a restaurant like this pales by comparison.
Typical, but good!. The food is good. It’s your typical mexican restaurant. When I want authentic, I go to Mexico or local taco stands, but if you like the Mexican food where everything is covered in cheese sauce, this is your place.
I like it have eaten their many times food has alwaysBeen good service Is good most of he timeAlso
Never got my food. They offered to correct AFTER The entire table was finished eating. THEN they gave me a ticket for my tea. Unfreaking believable.
New restaurant is really good. They serve from lunch menu until 4 pm.18 May, 2012Old restaurant burned down. New restaurant is on Morris Rd.
Stopped here on the way to Dallas. It was listed among the most popular in the city, but it seems like any other Mexican restaurant we’ve been to. We tried the amigo Juan nachos and the shrimp and chicken quesadilla. Both were good. Great service
