Chicken express/wake village. We ate there today. The service was bad,we felt like we were in the way just being there. The fish was mostly crisp and crunchy and where it wasn’t it was rubbery. I could have eaten much better for a cheaper price. I do not intend to go back for more.
The restaurant is clean. The crew is outstanding for service, accuracy, and courtesy. The prices are very reasonable. The chicken is fresh and the pieces are large. The catfish is excellent. The tenders are cooked perfectly (not tough or overdone). The side orders could use some work. The potatoes and gravy are rather tasteless. The fries are crinkle cut and don’t stay edible very long. The Italian green beans are very good. The hush puppies and okra are average. The iced tea is excellent. They sell it by the gallon. Mr David, the general manager, runs an excellent restaurant.
Love this place!. The food is wonderful, the staff is SUPER nice. Most of all I love the scripture printed on the receipt…… AND the sweet tea!
Best value for the money. I rarely go anywhere but Chicken Express for chicken anymore. It outstrips the rest in both quality and value. I’ve almost never had a bad order, and I patronize them on a regular basis. The staff are generally more pleasant than what you’d usually find. Lots of businesses could take a lesson from Chicken Express. I’m kind of surprised the Arkansas Boulevard location is not here, since I’ve had the same type of quality there.
Yummy!!. I love chicken express. I think that there resturants are clean and the staff is friendly. The food is awesome and I especially love there catfish!!
