85th birthday party. Our special day was a birthday party for my father. We have a large family and usually bring pot luck. We typically have a lot of excellent cooks contributing food to our gatherings. I hated to have our food catered for this event, but we needed to spend our energy hosting instead of preparing and serving. Our food arrived on time, perfectly cooked! Many guests commented on how good the food tasted!! The chicken was tender, the salad was pretty and everyone went back for seconds on the scalloped potatoes. Thank you making our birthday party a special event that we could all enjoy! Brenda Osborne

Horrible tasting cake!. I ordered a 2 layer double round cake from them for a baby shower I was giving and the cake was unedible. They pour about 1 cup of almond extract in the cake and it was the driest cake I have ever eaten. I felt so bad for the girl I had the shower for because she didn’t even want to take the extra cake home. Everyone that ate the cake threw it away and that’s what we did with all the extra cake. A box cake would have been 100% better. It’s really that BAD!!I called them and told them someone must have made a mistake when they put in the extract and they pretty much had nothing to say, not even an apology for the $65 cake they ruined. They really need someone that can bake in this place.
Totally happy with the Silverspoon of Texarkana. Everything I have tried there was excellant. The ckn salad is wonderful…the blanco dip as well. The holiday cooking is as good as mine…which means more time for the family. I suggest you stop in and try the place out…you will be satisfide. Thank you, Tess
Very good food. I have eaten here several times at lunch, their sandwiches are very good and I always get a cup or bowl of soup and it is always very good. I have recommended it to friends.
Do not recommend. My husband and I got married in northern Arkansas a few years ago. I wanted Silver Spoon to make my cake but told them I would be traveling and asked if that was advisable. They assured me that they had sent cakes to Baton Rouge, and several other places and that they pack them to be safe for travel. I picked up the cake the Friday before the wedding and by the time I got to Arkadelphia the entire top layer had slid off thetop and was ruined. I had to call ahead to Fayetteville to order another cake, which ended up tasting a lot better, but was more expensive. Upon inspection of their cake they had not secured the top layer with anything (dowel rods OR a footed pedistal) – it was just sitting on the top on a flat piece of plastic. When I returned to Texarkana I went by and explained the event but they did not offer to reimburse any of the cost. I have not used them since and have not recommended them to anyone else.
Horrible service all around. I needed a wedding cake. I first called ahead to make an appointment. They advised that the lady that did the cakes wasn’t in, but she would put me down for the date and call back with a time. After a few days passed I called back and they completely forgot about me. I had to give them all of my information again, including the wedding date. And they were booked for almost 2 weeks. When I finally got in for the appointment, we told them the wedding date and all of our information for a third time. We planned everything and I gave them the only picture I had with the design I wanted. They told us the price and said everything was set. About a week later I get a call from one of her assistants, obviously she is too busy for her clients, and she tells us that they are booked on our wedding date and won’t be able to do it. I will never go there for anything ever again and I would advise you to go ahead and look somewhere else as well.
