Sad Like Others Have Said. The description under Sad is spot on. Amerigo’s is the epitome of sad, tired and just not a good place to eat. Food that isn’t good, waiters that don’t care, dated and tired dcor. Sad, sad, sad.

Never Again. Bad food, overpriced and very dated. Amerigo’s Grille looks very old on the inside. It was comical. It needs a makeover in every department (interior, chef, etc). Their signature dish which has pasta and seafood was overcooked, tasteless and rubbery. We told both our waiter and management but neither seemed interested in addressing the bad meal we had. For the price, customers expect a good meal and alas that’s not what we got. Very disappointing. Will not return.

Probably my last visit…. Years ago Amerigo’s was one of the few upscale restaurants in the area, and the food was pretty decent. Now it just feels dated and way overpriced (40 dollar pastas??). Hadn’t been over there in a few years but made reservations on short notice for a group of five last month. Overall the food was just so/so, and the seafood in my pasta was overcooked and dry. These days there are simply too many better choices in The Woodlands to settle for Amerigo’s.

Sad. Used to be a fun, high energy fine dining restaurant.its grown old and tired and sadly unfun.

Fabulous Dining Experience. Four of us enjoyed one of the best dining experiences we could remember for many years. From the greeting upon walking in the front door to the last sip of coffee with dessert, it was a special night. The food was exceptionally good, the service was sufficient but never unnecessary, and the ambience is what we’ve come to love about Amerigo’s. In year’s past, when The Woodlands wasn’t overrun with chain restaurants, it would be difficult to get a table. Now it appears that it is mostly frequented by locals that know the charm, and we were able to walk in without a reservation. Please try Amerigo’s, you won’t be disappointed.

Dissapointing. The table was not set right- we had to ask for cutlery ALL night long, I had to BEG for a napkin, They ran out of fillet mignon, ok, no big deal, but the New York strip was tough with too much fat hidden by the sauce.Yes, the wine list is extensive and I am sure the wines they have at $750.00 are good, but I have found that for the average person a $50.00 bottle is also pretty good. Probably a good choice if you like dancing (I use the term lightly) to music from the 50’s & 60’s and your walker/cane will help you, this is the place. However, not for us , our middle age group had Ages 30-65 NEVER AGAIN
