The staff was very polite. Friendly. Everyone says good morning to customers that walk in the door and say goodbye as they leave. I sat right by the door so I know. A little warm but that’s due to the age of the building. Food was good and had great taste. Nothing special but I would come back because of the hospitality.
Good breakfast
Wonderful breakfast, my husband and I frequent here every weekend. The omelets, biscuits and gravy and especially the bacon keep beginning us back. Sometimes we even order the homemade onion rings and BlackBerry cobbler ala mode for breakfast.
Grows On You. From the unfriendly waitstaff to the old dusty decor on the walls, this place seems like a dive. We used this as a college hangout back in the day and I must say it grows on you, the food is average, but consistent. The atmosphere is cozy and quiet, and that is the best thing about it. I go there when I want to have a conversation over lunch or dinner. Note: do not eat here if cigarette smoke bothers you, the ventilation is poor.
