It’s not bad but it is not great either. We are just not fans of barbecue that sits under a heat lamp. The ribs were dried out. The sausage was good as was the turkey. The sides were just okay. This eatery is small, cozy and welcoming. I really don’t see us returning here but would not discourage others from trying.
Customer. We’ve eaten many times here and always love the food! I also buy from them for catering events and they ALWAYS come through with amazing food. I would even venture to say their catering is better than the restaurant. Overall, great food and great service. A wonderful family owned business and I will continue to use them for catering and a frequent out to eat place.

A Tomball Tradition. I have been frequenting this BBQ place since I was a child. It is always busy at lunch — there is a drive-thru, take-out and sit-down service. I highly recommend the ribs, brisket and massive meat baked potatoes. The service is quick and friendly. I always look forward to a Tickler meal!
Very good BBQ, and good prices too. Great family atmoshere.
