I love this place! I haven’t had anything I didn’t like. A little expensive, but worth it for a nice dinner with good atmosphere. They have crazy good mozzarella that is made daily in house.
So good! We’ve barely discovered this place a couple of weeks ago, but we’ve been back numerous times since then and have never had anything that wasn’t amazing. So far, we’ve had the Margherita pizza (with pepperoni added), the Fat Queen (several times), and one that I can’t remember the name of but it has spicy onions on it and some other peppers and whatnot. I’d like to try the pastrami sandwich or one of their salads because they always look so good, but I just love the pizza so much that I can’t bring myself to order something else. Maybe eventually….
The pastrami is a MUST! And the pizza was pretty great too! I will try to make this a stop every time I go to Austin! Soooo good!! I bought extra to take home!
Visiting from Birmingham and some friends brought us here. Really liked the fat queen and the pieous plate. Great atmosphere too. Would totally recommend!
No online ordering or phone service??. Ok, to brag about how awesome a place is, is one thing. But to be so confident as to not even bother with online ordering, and when you call get a sort of rude voice recording? Big turn off to foodies.. Here’s a tip for your pizza guy, UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE TO RECEIVE ONLINE ORDERING AND ANSWER YOUR PHONE TO RECEIVE TAKE OUT ORDERS. Or close your doors. It’s 2015. And you’re a PIZZA SHOP. Over confidents is not a plus for a small mom and pop operation. Annoyed.
Pizza might be the mainstay but the house cured and smoked pastrami is the pinnacle of what it should be. It is worth the trip just for that.
