I cant help adding 5 stars. This place was Blue Bamboo before it became Pho House. Either way, it was great! I loved the food. I went often. It was a staple restaurant when I lived in Lakeway. It isnt hardcore fancy, nor did I think they were trying to be something theyre not. Just honest food to make your tastebuds groove to the beat they had playing.
Been twice. First time, egg rolls, tom kha, banh mi. The banh mi tastes great, great cost, great bread! Tom kha is a bit different than a few Thai places, has slightly more of a tomato flavor, as well as including bits of tomato in it. They peel the tomatoes though, which goes a very long way to make the soup great. Finally, the egg rolls give me the impression they are made on site. Very very good!Second time I got the same banh mi and an order of the spring rolls, which were very fresh and tasty. It is near my work so I plan to go very often. Would give it a four but the first trip the restaurant was a bit of a mess and my menu was sticky. 🙁
