I have never had a bad drink from here. You can’t easily beat the cost, and almost impossible to beat the quality of the coffee. Never burnt. Never sour. Have yet to find its equal any where else. He offers soy milk for an extra cost, but I always prefer cow milk in my lattes and au laite.

James Brady is a saint and his coffee will be served in Heaven. Consistently great. Any day that I get a cup from Brady’s is a good day.

Brady’s coffee is a fantastic coffee shop. The people who run it are not pretentious and it has a great, local feel to it. He displays art for local artists and you will always find a group of friends talking about books or news. His hours are strange which is inconvenient but overall it is a great, local coffee shop

Old World Vibe. Brady’s has the vibe of a small European cafe. The owner displays the work of local artists and occasionally hosts after-hours musical events. A loyal and entertaining cadre of regulars can often be found at the back table discussing every topic under the sun. It’s a treat just to visit and listen to the conversation. The menu is diverse with an emphasis on quality; it features a wide range of options from basic black coffee to gourmet frozen treats. Many of the sweets are homemade and reliably tasty. I especially enjoy the mango smoothies, the red eye Americano, and the white chocolate cranberry scones. The price is comparable to Starbucks, if not cheaper. The difference is in the ingredients (often local, generally fresh), the personal attention (the owner will talk to you about anything), and the ambiance. Brady’s also sells Distant Lands coffee beans and some gourmet teas. The only downside to Brady’s is the limited hours (7-4 during the week, 7-2 on Saturday). The service is good, but laid back. I enjoy visiting Brady’s because the atmosphere is very homey and communal. It is a real treat to have a coffee shop like this in Tyler, just like you might find tucked away in a big city like New York or Austin. I love to support local businesses and I would rather spend my money at Brady’s than a big chain store any day.

Unpretentious people, really good coffee. This place has a vibe that corresponds to the part of town in which it is. just a few blocks from downtown in the brick street neighborhoods this is a laid back place, everyone is nice (both the customers and the staff), and they have tasty coffee, coffee drinks, and pastries and snacks.i like starbucks and the fact that they offer a consistently flavorful cup of coffee almost anywhere in the country, but i enjoy any visit to brady’s more than any stop at a starbucks…

This place isn’t good at all! The place looks dumpy and if your going to get coffee just go to Starbucks, and don’t waste your time with this place!
