What happened???. I’ve been a regular customer at Cheddars for years in Tyler, TX. It’s had some ups & downs but never anything serious until Thursday July, 10, 2014. I usually eat in the bar area because I’m early & many times alone. Yesterday a friend & I decided to meet at Cheddars at 5:45. The bar area was a mess!!! The floor was littered everywhere. Food, cup lids, paper napkins & something squished on the floor. Tables dirty. Even the parking lot was trashed. the bartende was very busy but the bussing people were talking to other employees. The employees were too busy talking to each other to notice the room was nasty. We were there for over an hour & the situation Did not improve. It’s certainly my last trip to the Tyler Cheddars.
Slow service.. We went here for a quick bite before heading back to our hotel room at the Days Inn. I had just ran the Tyler Rose Marathon. I was kind of looking for an omelete kind of dish. I decide on the Baja Chicken as just a light lunch. We found the service really slow but the place was pretty busy. I don’t think we would go back. But that is only because there are so many restaurants in the Tyler area.
Cheddar’s Casual Cafe. Prices were fairly inexpensive but food seemed like it lacked variety a little to me. First time here. Ordered a cheeseburger with fries. Quantity of food seemed good but again i would like to see a little bit more variety on the menu
Poor service, told the waiter a water and a lemonade for our daughter and they only brought a lemonade. Asked thrm for 2 minutes to come back to take our order and it was probsbly 15 minutes later before they cane back. They have no nutritional information other than the light entree options, even online. They put a cold salad on the same plate as my warm food, which I find to be incredibly tacky. Won’t be back.
Bad service Cheap food. I hate this place dont even know why i went. I had a server who seemed very uncomfortable and nervous, made for a weird dinner. Also my drinks stayed empty even when he came over to our table i had to ask for more tea. Needless to say i will prob not be going by there again anytime soon. Prices are cheap but like my mom always told me, you get what you pay for.
Horrible service. Food was good the service was lacking though. Not to mention i waited almost 45 minutes for a table. I am pretty sure someone had forgotten about us. Only 3 people in our party too. I will prob not go back unless it is slower
Worst Restaurant in Tyler!. My fiance and I have spent the past three years eating out every night. We have eaten just about everywhere in Tyler. I honestly cannot think of any we jave not tried. Cheddar’s is the dirtiest, slowest, lamest restaurant in Tyler. The experience was horrible! I will never go back! Our drinks never got checked! The bread was stale. I ordered a vanilla milkshake and got a banana milkshake. My husband ordered a philly and asked for mozzarella cheese. The server said she did not know if they had mozzarella which is the standard cheese for that sandwich and instead of asking delivers it with cheddar. The fries were not tolerable. The noise level was annoying. Absolutely horrible!
