New owners, bad food. This used to be the best chinese resturant to eat at. New owners took over (can’t speak English, only Chinese or Spanish, so you can’t complain) Food is now cold, greasy, and certainly not prepared the way it used to be. They fired the old manager (Terry) and made one of the waiters the manager, and he doesn’t care what goes on, either behind registar sitting on his b…t or in a booth, won’t even eat the food himself, brings something from home and warms it up in the microwave. We complained about the change in food and he didn’t care. We have started going to China Cafe, they have really changed, food is excellent, warm and fresh, service not quite as good as Phin was but ok. The next step for China King is shut the doors.
Ugh. Thats all i can say for this place is ugh. Yes the decor is lovely and the service is good but its just not enough to overcome the atrocious buffet. I took my family their a few days ago and in my opinion the only thing edible was the fresh fruit and even some of that looked unsavory. They had bbq sausage on the buffet which tasted ruined. It was pretty gross. All the breads available were hard and looked like they were leftovers from the night before. I left their hungry and nauseous. For 2 adults and 1 child it was $30. Absolutely ridiculous prices for the poor quality of the food.
This place is pretty nasty….try somewhere else
Its big enough, its in a decent location, but the food was terrible. My wife and I both got plates consisting of several of our favorite dishes. None even closely resembled how they should taste.
